OUR STORY

2nd Generation Family-Owned Farm

Welcome to The Red Barn Pups & Co, a small family owned farm located 5km east of Hague, Sk, Canada. The farm consists of a few cattle, chickens, cats and dogs. My love for dogs and breeding happened when we moved to my husbands family farm in 2011. We inherited the farm Border Collie named Tari, whom we already loved. My dream was always to have a Golden Retriever and it didn't take long before that dream was a reality. We lost Tari not too long afterwards and within a year got another Border Collie. Coltrievers was my first mix to breed but over time things switched to Bernese and Golden Mountain Dogs. My love for connecting families with their fur buddies has only grown over the years and I hope to continue for years to come!

COME VISIT TODAY

At the farm, we breed Bernese Mountain Dogs and Golden Mountain Dogs which is a mix of Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dogs. We believe in giving our dogs a life filled with love and the freedom to run on the farm. Our dogs live in the red hip roof barn in the centre of our yard.

Off to one side of the barn is a white whelping room where moms and puppies enjoy insulated, temperature controlled comfort. After each litter has gone, the room is cleaned and disinfected to ensure the health and safety of each puppy. Each puppy is lavished with love and kisses throughout their short time here on the farm. We love each as if they were our own.

When adopting a puppy from us, you can expect to receive personal updates which includes pictures and videos so you can enjoy seeing them grow. Each puppy will have two dewormings and a vet check before they leave. A small bag of food is sent along so that you can slowly transition your puppy to the food of your choice. They will also be wearing a bandana that has the scent of mom and siblings to help ease the transition to a new home. You will also leave with a cleanable biothane collar and leash combo.

We believe in being there for you before and after you take your puppy home so you can feel comfortable knowing you and you new found fur friend are well taken care of.
